I’ve been choosing the lower priced shares in the BBT. Can’t see the value of having 10,000 invested in a $100 stock. That just reduces diversity and puts more at risk in a single stock than I like. I’ll RARELY choose a stock over $75. This is the problem with too small an account. It stops mattering when your portfolio commitment is over 200,000. Slowly chugging that way J. But this DOES induce a bias for cheaper shares. Read an article that says companies aren’t bothering to split because it is extra accounting, and the big funds/ETF’s don’t care what the share price is because they buy 1000’s at a time. I care.
I’m only buying one position on a down day as I’m nearing being fully invested…don’t want to be there J
All buys will be via CSP unless they are poorly priced OR ex-dividend date is near or within the expiration period of the sold put.
